Training to Model Parents

Under the Girls' Education and Empowerment project, implemented in partnership between Samagra Jan Utthan Kendra and CARE Nepal, a three-day training on social analysis and action was completed on Saturday, January 13. The training was provided to 14 model parents from four municipalities: Dhangadhimai Municipality, Bhagwanpur Rural Municipality, Sakhuwa Nankarkatti Rural Municipality, and Nahara Rural Municipality.

The training covered topics such as child marriage, menstruation, women's workload, gender and sexuality, patriarchy and masculinity, good touch and bad touch, and gender-based violence. The participants attended the training with the objective of facilitating the learned topics within their communities.
