Under the Ujjwal Bhavishya Project being implemented by Samagra Jan Utthan Kendra Lahan in collaboration with Plan International Nepal, the program to form 20 adolescent groups has been successfully completed in Aurahi and Arnama Rural Municipalities of Siraha district.
To enhance adolescents' capacity, two groups were formed in each ward of both municipalities—10 groups in Aurahi and 10 in Arnama—for a total of 20 adolescent groups.
The formation process involved participation from local government representatives, parents, social leaders, teachers, and female community health volunteers. The groups were established to organize adolescents, strengthen their self-confidence, decision-making, and leadership skills, and ensure their meaningful participation in bringing positive change within the community.
